HERE’S A BIBLE PROMISE FOR YOU!

“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." THIS IS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22, 23) ( Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. NEIGHBOR, NO ONE CAN THWART GOD’S PLANS FOR YOUR LIFE!

“O LORD, my God, you have accomplished many things; you have done amazing things and carried out your purposes for us. No one can thwart you! I want to declare them and talk about them, but they are too numerous to recount!” (Psalms 40:5) ( NET Bible copyright © 1996-2006 by Biblical Studies Press, L.L.C.)

PATIENTLY ENDURE AFFLICTIONS

“… since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."(Hebrews 12:1-3) (Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. ANY MEN WANT TO HEAR, “THE REVELATION”, READ ALOUD IN A CHURCH MEETING SOMETIME?

I would love to do what the following scripture says to do in a church meeting sometime with any man who would like to do it. That is, to read, “The Revelation to John”, aloud. This scripture says it would be a blessing to do it. If any man wants to be blessed, I believe this is a way to be blessed. I’ve read it aloud by myself several times. It is a short book that reads quite quickly, if you move right along without pausing. Every time I’ve done it, it took about two hours with a couple of short breaks. I was blessed by doing it.

The scriptures are the words to memorize. The scriptures are more profitable in an eternal sense than memorizing Shakespeare, for example, or any other words someone might memorize. Check out this promise, which I believe is inspired by The Holy Spirit, from the Amplified Bible:

“Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near.” (The Revelation to John 1:3) (“Scripture quotations taken from THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE, Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation. WHAT IS SUCCESS? WHAT IS PROFITABLE?

“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”—Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:26) (THE HOLY BIBLE, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica®.)

I'M GOING TO GLORYLAND! ARE YOU?

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,  that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
