God is love.” (1 John 4:16 b) (The Holy Bible)
I posted this scripture before. I just love God so much because he first loved me. I felt led by The Holy Spirit to post it again :-)
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. WORSHIP THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH!

1These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess—as long as you live in the land. 2Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods. 3Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.
4You must not worship the Lord your God in their way. 5But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.” (Deuteronomy 12:1-7) (Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. How I got saved.

ALL IS VANITY AND VEXATION OF SPIRIT

The prophet Solomon, who was considered the richest and wisest king of Israel, wrote much of The Book of Proverbs, as well as Ecclesiastes. He was one of David’s sons. David was the second king of Israel, an ancestor of Jesus Christ and a prophet who wrote much of The Book of Psalms.

There is one thing I have meditated on quite a bit over the years since I finished reading the entire Holy Bible. It is something Solomon wrote over and over in Ecclesiastes. This scripture has given me a lot of comfort throughout my trials, tribulations and so much time of seeking God’s face and wondering, “What on earth am I to do with this life you have given me?”

I want to share it with you to give you comfort as you go through life. I’m going to add the scripture references with it, in case you want to look them up yourself. It’s simply this: “…all is vanity and vexation of spirit…” (Ecclesiastes 1:4, 1:17, 2:11, 2:17, 4:4, 4:6, 4:16, 6:9)

The Parable of the Sower Check this out! It’s from the Lord Jesus Christ!

1Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water’s edge. 2He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said: 3“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
9Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”
10When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. 11He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that,
“ ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’a ”
13Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? 14The farmer sows the word. 15Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. 16Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy. 17But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 18Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; 19but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. 20Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.” (Mark 4:1-20) (Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. IN THIS LAND, MEN ARE PANNING FOR GOLD.

In Heaven, will men be panning for land?

“…the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.” (Proverbs 2:22)
“The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.” (Revelation 21:18)

Be thankful for what God has given you, for one day it will be gone. I hope we can get back to the land, instead of being cut off from it.

PATIENTLY ENDURE AFFLICTIONS

“… since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."(Hebrews 12:1-3) (Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. ANY MEN WANT TO HEAR, “THE REVELATION”, READ ALOUD IN A CHURCH MEETING SOMETIME?

I would love to do what the following scripture says to do in a church meeting sometime with any man who would like to do it. That is, to read, “The Revelation to John”, aloud. This scripture says it would be a blessing to do it. If any man wants to be blessed, I believe this is a way to be blessed. I’ve read it aloud by myself several times. It is a short book that reads quite quickly, if you move right along without pausing. Every time I’ve done it, it took about two hours with a couple of short breaks. I was blessed by doing it.

The scriptures are the words to memorize. The scriptures are more profitable in an eternal sense than memorizing Shakespeare, for example, or any other words someone might memorize. Check out this promise, which I believe is inspired by The Holy Spirit, from the Amplified Bible:

“Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near.” (The Revelation to John 1:3) (“Scripture quotations taken from THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE, Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation. WHAT IS SUCCESS? WHAT IS PROFITABLE?

I'M GOING TO GLORYLAND! ARE YOU?

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,  that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
